Surrey Frills delves into the wardrobe of our Stylist in Focus, Marsha from Style Signature.
Tell us about you!
My passion has been fashion for as long as I can remember and I feel so lucky that I get to work in a job that I love and feel so passionate about. I am a qualified Personal Stylist based in Surrey covering mainly London and Surrey.
After working in fashion for nearly 6 years as a Stylist for Stella & Dot, a worldwide accessories and clothing brand, I graduated from the London College of Style with a Diploma in Personal Styling before setting up my own personal styling business, Style Signature.
I live in Epsom with my husband, 2 gorgeous boys and our miniature schnauzer Buddy!
Go-to style inspiration: Currently it’s fashion influencers Monikh and Lucy Williams who both have a super cool approach to personal style, often mixing high end with high street making their enviable style easy to replicate.
Ba&sh biker style sleeveless leather jacket.
"This was a real investment purchase for me, but I know it will be in my wardrobe for years to come and I will get so much wear out of it."
Most fabulous piece in your wardrobe:
The leather jacket mentioned above. It is a forever piece but also very rock and roll! Plus, it also makes me feel so good when I wear it, which is so important when you are buying clothes.
Best vintage hunting ground:
The Loft in Walton on the Hill. They are a pre-loved shop run by 2 lovely ladies, Kikki and Bonni. You have to keep popping in to see what they have and they don’t always have vintage pieces - every so often you find an absolute gem!
Favourite fashion designer:
I think it has to be Isabel Marant, a French fashion designer. I love her bohemian, never over thought type of look that her clothing embodies.
Upcoming label you’re most excited about:
I have two! Kitri is a British brand who sell classic pieces with a modern twist. They sell mostly online but they do have a pop up in Selfridges. It’s a really affordable brand that is loved by the Instagram fashionistas! They have gorgeous dresses, really expensive looking tailoring and shirts.
Charles and Keith is a Singaporean online accessories label that is like the Zara of the accessories world. It creates on-trend luxe looking bags for under £100. Again, loved by bloggers and fashionistas!
Quattro Rish, Reigate, Surrey. They sell some great smaller, independent brands, which I love and their selection is always fabulous!
