About the Event
Often it's the yoga poses we practice the most that we move through on autopilot ... Yet it is these same key yoga postures that create the foundation for our practice.
We invite you to join us for a balancing experience (both physically and mentally) where we will dive deep into basic standing postures and different techniques to find focus, balance and stability in your practice in a playful and fun way (applicable to all areas of life too) leading to a deep and relaxing meditation by the end. A totally grounding experience that will aim to improve your posture, help you feel open and present.
After our Yoga session, Maria will lead a workshop on Ayurveda and the principles surrounding this wonderful ancient science that focus on balancing and restoring the five base elements in our bodies; space, air, fire, water and earth. Ayurveda sees health as having a balanced body, mind and senses. An imbalance can manifest itself from feeling slightly out of sorts to a chronic illness. Whatever the manifestation, Ayurveda can help to restore balanceAfter a short break, Brunch will be provided by The Chapel.
