Whilst living in Mexico, Adalise’s founder and owner, Sian came across many villages and towns which had a long and rich history with silver. In 1524, Cortes, the explorer famous for his conquering of the Aztec Empire in Mexico, opened the silver mines in the hills around these towns after discovering the use the Aztecs had been making of the silver for years. Today, mining is no longer a mainstay of the economy but the skilled craftsmanship continues to be celebrated by a global audience.

In 2010, Sian fulfilled her dream to open her independent family-run shop in Richmond.

As required by U.K. law, the jewellery is hallmarked at the London Assay Office as 925 sterling silver.

With a fusion of technical refinement and modern flair, the designs and textures are varied and inspiring.
